Legat Architects’ municipal practice has provided site selection, master planning, programming, needs analysis, and design services for over 30 Illinois cities and villages. Ranked 9th in Midwest Construction’s 2008 “Top Government Building Design Firms,” the firm serves a variety of facility types: city/village halls, public safety facilities, public works facilities, community/recreation centers, and train stations.
A staff of 64 includes 34 Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals, certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Studios in Chicago, Crystal Lake, Oak Brook, and Waukegan bring Illinois clients the attentiveness of the local architect, with the resources of the major design firm.
