Expected Starting Salary: Starting at $75,800
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in preparing engineering specifications, coordinating bid processes, and reviewing construction bids.
- Grant Administration: Manage all aspects of grant eligibility, application development, oversight, reporting, and analysis for the Engineering Division.
- Data Analysis and Records Management: Develop and implement an information management plan, process procurement and invoicing, maintain physical and electronic records, and prepare detailed reports on division actions.
- Payroll Project Management: Serve as the primary payroll coordinator and project manager for the Public Works and Engineering Department, ensuring efficient administration and auditing of electronic payroll processes.
- Communication Support: Handle responses to 311 requests, assist with department communication efforts, and support the preparation of presentations and reports.
- Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of departmental initiatives, policies, and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Master’s degree in public administration, business administration, finance, or a related field (or actively pursuing).
- Experience: At least 2 years in a related role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with GIS software.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
