Expected Starting Salary: $71,007

What you’ll do:

  • Assisting the department navigate the new SAFE-T Act requirements by overseeing the police department Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
  • Assist the Police Services Manager with project management, implementation of new police software, and maintenance of police technology.
  • Participates in the development, maintenance, and proper implementation of the City’s FOIA program and policies pertaining to the body camera program.
  • Participates in professional associations; attends training events relevant to job responsibilities; stays up-to-date of new trends and innovations for incorporation in City policies and procedures.

 

We need someone who:

  • Has a Master’s Degree or in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience, with a demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced dynamic environment and maintain confidences along with the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities set forth in the full description.
  • Is committed to excellence, thrives while working independently and is efficient in their work.
