City of Geneva, Engagement and Inclusion Analyst (Part-Time)  

The City of Geneva is seeking a part-time Engagement and Inclusion Analyst to join our growing team at City Hall. Reporting to the Assistant City Administrator, this newly established position will assist with developing and implementing policies that promote inclusion and belonging at the City and throughout the community. The individual in this role will play an important role in the establishment of an advisory committee to help advance strategic plan initiatives and DEI Task Force recommendations. They will also work to advise the City’s leadership team regarding practices, procedures, and communication strategies that align with established goals. As an essential member of the team at City Hall, this position will be responsible for connecting strategy to operations by analyzing data, developing reports, and communicating with stakeholders, colleagues, and the public.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Public Administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Human Services, or related field, along with a minimum of two years’ experience in data analysis or similar role. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of DEI principles and best practices; exceptional communication skills with the ability to work with various staff, commission members, residents and the general public; and strong time and project management skills.

Miscellaneous Information

This is a part-time position that will work an average of 18 hours per week. There is some flexibility regarding the scheduled hours and days of the week.
