JOB TITLE: ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

LOCATION: City Hall, Room 207, Peoria, Illinois
HOURS: 40 hours/week (Attendance to after-hour meetings required.)
SALARY Starting Salary: $101,484 – $120,000 +/-DOQ
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Assistant City Manager, this position plans and manages the City’s economic development efforts and is responsible for but not limited to, business retention, expansion and attraction programs, financial incentives, and property acquisition assistance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Planning, or closely related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible professional experience in economic development or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid State Driver’s License or the ability to meet the transportation requirements of the job.
