Ela Township, Clinician

The full-time Clinician position, reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, operates within a comprehensive framework to deliver direct therapeutic services, including psychosocial assessments, individual, family, couples, and group counseling. With a focus on holistic and integrated approaches, the clinician is tasked with managing a diverse caseload of 25-35 clients, providing case management, EA/GA assistance, and community outreach. This role extends beyond traditional therapy to include community education, prevention initiatives, and facilitating groups based on current community needs. Additionally, the clinician collaborates with external agencies, conducts home visits as necessary, and contributes to the development of programs and services tailored to the community’s evolving needs.

Basic qualifications for this role include a graduate degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, along with licensure in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or a related field. Proficiency in the DSM-V, DCFS/APS experience, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are essential. Preferred qualifications include bilingualism, independent licensure, and prior experience within local government agencies or working with low-income populations. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to professional development, maintaining licensure status, and upholding the organization’s standards for ethical practice.
