 Located in Waukesha County in southeastern Wisconsin, approximately 15 miles northwest of Milwaukee, Lisbon is a growing community with a rich history and bright future. Lisbon has a small town atmosphere with nearby big city amenities and contains robust commercial areas, beautiful subdivisions, excellent schools, 170 acres of parks and 3 golf courses to enjoy.  Five Board Members, including Town Chair, are elected on a non-partisan basis. S8.2M total annual budget (including Debt Service and Stormwater Utility), 16 FT and 65 PT/seasonal employees (including paid on-call Fire) and one Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District.  In the spirit of representative town government, Lisbon’s future strategic directives include Village incorporation; organizational development; continuation of intergovernmental service and cooperation agreements and the implementation of an aggressive capital improvement plan.

Require Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration or related field; prefer Master’s Degree with at least 5 years municipal management experience. Residency is encouraged.  Salary range $80,000-$100,000 DOQ. Desire a strong background in budget development/municipal finance, capital project management, human resources management; economic development, intergovernmental relations and community leadership.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of both personal and professional integrity; a strong work ethic and commitment to public service; the ability to work harmoniously with elected officials (including other governmental entities) and has had stable and productive tenures in previous positions.
