JOB SUMMARY
This full-time position supports engineering functions in the Village’s Public Works Department and reports to the Engineering Manager. The role involves both office and fieldwork, including plan reviews, plan preparation, construction inspections, project management, and consultant coordination.
- Engineer I is an entry-level role that assists with engineering tasks such as plan reviews, plan preparation, construction inspections, project management, and consultant coordination for public infrastructure projects. This role provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in municipal engineering.
- Engineer II is a mid-level, experienced position responsible for managing complex engineering projects, overseeing construction, conducting plan reviews, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Engineer II leads municipal projects and provides guidance to junior engineers.
SALARY:
- Engineer I: The base salary hiring range for this role is $83,458.00 to $100,149.00 per year. The salary range for the role is $83,458.00 to $116,840.00 per year.
- Engineer II: The base salary hiring range for this role is $96,820.00 to $116,184.00 per year. The salary range for the role is $96,820.00 to $135,548.00 per year.
