The Village of Bensenville is seeking an Operations Superintendent to play a pivotal role in our Public Works Department. Reporting directly to the Director of Public Works, this position is responsible for overseeing the Operations Division’s activities. The role encompasses the planning, direction, and administration of divisional functions, including coordination of contractor work, preparation of project specifications, and management of special projects.
The Operations Superintendent is instrumental in assisting the Public Works Director in effectively managing the department while providing exceptional service to Village residents, contractors, and the public. Supervising a team of 16 full-time and seven part-time employees across the Utilities, Streets, and Forestry divisions, this position holds a vital role in the Village’s infrastructure and community well-being.
Salary Range: $94,000 to $112,800
