Village of Evergreen Park, Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police

The Village of Evergreen Park is seeking qualified candidates to fill the full-time position of Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police.   This position provides administrative support to the Chief of Police and maintains the integrity and confidentiality of privileged information, assists the police management staff with various administrative work, and prepares semi-monthly payroll for the Police Department.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively, perform basic math computations, prioritize work, and possess strong organizational skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.

This position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. with some college coursework completed. A minimum of two years of directly relevant experience is required, preferably in a municipal setting.

The starting salary range for this position is $62,000 – $70,000, DOQ, plus an excellent benefits package.
