Gilberts Overview:
Gilberts is a rapidly growing community with the majority of development taking place within the last 20 years. The population of Gilberts has grown from 1,279 in 2000 to over 8,500 people today, with a new 1,200-unit residential subdivision currently being built. The Village is a full-service municipality except for fire protection which is provided by the local fire protection district. The Village has a general fund budget of about $5.5 million. The Village also hosts multiple community events throughout the year including our annual Community Days festival, easter egg hunt, visit with Santa, and more.
Benefits and Compensation:
Salary Range: $54,012 – $81,019 (DOQ)
The Village of Gilberts offers a competitive benefit package including coverage for health, dental, vision, and life insurance. The Village is also a participant in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) and offers participation in a 457 deferred compensation plan.
