The Village of Hinsdale is seeking a collaborative finance professional to serve as its next Assistant Finance Director.  Top responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Finance Director in administering all Village finance department activities including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, utility billing, payroll and benefits, parking citations, vehicle registration, and reception; proposes and coordinates the implementation of new financial policies and procedures. 
  • Supervising personnel in the functional areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing, cash receipts, customer service and payroll processing.  Carries out supervisory responsibility in accordance with Village policies, procedures and applicable law. 
  • Coordinating activities of the independent annual audit.
