Village of Oswego, Deputy Director of Public Works/Village Engineer

Join us in shaping the future of the Village of Oswego! The Village is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as the Deputy Director of Public Works/Village Engineer. This individual will work closely with the current Director of Public Works who will be retiring within the year. The Village is growing quickly, so this position will have the unique opportunity for expedited career advancement and experience various learning opportunities. A successful candidate will have a background in civil engineering, experience with development and project management. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, a minimum of seven years of professional experience in engineering, and minimum of five years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.  Valid driver’s license and P.E. are required.

Competitive compensation and benefits are offered. Salary rage is $108,486 to $162,730, with starting salary D.O.Q. The Village offers a full range of benefits, including health, dental, 457 plans, flex spending, paid vacation, sick and holiday time.
