Director of Community Services- Riverwoods, IL
The Village of Riverwoods is seeking a multi- talented and creative individual to serve as its Director of Community Services. The Director of Community Services has four core assignments, to serve as the Village’s Chief Building Official, to coordinate new planning initiatives and processes, to be the custodian of the Village ‘s property and infrastructure investment, and to assure that property maintenance codes are judicially enforced for code compliance. A Bachelors degree is highly preferred and current certification of one and two family ICC Inspector Certification within six months of employment is required. The Director accomplishes work assignments in part through the judicious deployment and management of highly capable professional service providers.
