  • Serving as the Village’s Freedom of Information Act Officer;
  • Being the point person for community events, serving as the Special Event Coordinator;
  • Providing invaluable support with the Village’s $177 million annual budget;
  • Diving into research and analysis to inform decision-making;
  • Assisting with grant writing;
  • Supporting implementation of Skokie’s Environmental Sustainability Plan, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable future for the community.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred; One to two years of local municipal government management experience, preferably in Finance or Public Administration, or comparable experience is desired; Must be organized able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced setting and effectively function in a team environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite applications; Must be able to organize data in clear, understandable formats; Must be able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and effectively function in a team environment; Must have excellent organization skills and use discretionary judgement in dispensing information; Ability to follow all safety rules of the Village.

The salary range for this position is $70,923 – $92,782.  The annualized starting salary range is $70,923 – $78,193 (DOQ).
