Village of Riverside, Administrative Assistant

The Village of Riverside is seeking a responsible and energetic individual with a genuine interest in public service for the position of Administrative Assistant. The Village of Riverside is supportive of professional and personal development and encourages staff to approach problems with innovation, creativity, and compassion as they interact with residents, the business community, consultants and other village staff. The Administrative Assistant will obtain experience completing tasks for all Village departments.

The position will require 16 to 24 hours per week with an hourly rate of $20.94-$34.97 per hour, depending on qualifications. The position will be tasked with the following duties: processing Village licenses, filing and scanning Village records for record retention, processing special event applications, managing Village surplus property and bidding processes, providing administrative support throughout the Village, and other duties as assigned.
