Local Gov Stories

• Preview enrichment opportunities – including conferences and other educational and/or social events that create stronger connections within the profession.
• Help to tell the stories of how different people entered the profession – through internships, out of college, moving up the ranks, or from the private sector.
• Showcase a “Day in the Life” of professionals around the State – to share experiences through their daily work, along with challenges, successes and more.
• Highlight the diverse people who work in the profession and how local government is open to all.
• Share how different organizations are working to engage the local government leaders of tomorrow by connecting with our youth through different programming.
