Village of Lincolnshire, Public Works – Management Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities: This position reports to the Assistant Public Works Director/Village Engineer and assumes a lead role in assisting the Public Works Department with the execution of Village Board directed goals, including the development, evaluation, and coordination of various Public Works capital projects and day-to-day maintenance activities. This position will be reporting to Lincolnshire Village Hall Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Additional Responsibilities:
This position is also responsible for providing support for various other Public Works functions, including customer service, budgeting, special event coordination, policy development/analysis, and communications. Additionally, it provides assistance to all other Village departments as needed. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical and technical skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, effective communication skills both orally and in writing.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum of one year of experience in municipal government or public works is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. A masters degree (or enrollment in a masters degree program) with major course work in Public Administration is also strongly encouraged.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $68,670-$98,100 dependent upon qualifications. The Village offers a competitive benefits package including paid time off; medical, dental, and life insurance; and membership in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Residency is not required.
